Bonneville did not have to look far to find its next program director in Denver. Raj Sharan has been promoted to PD of 104.3 the Fan and ESPN Denver 1600. He was serving as assistant program director and executive producer for the brand.
Sharan said in a press release that working for the Fan was his goal when he first arrived in Denver. “I’m so incredibly thankful to Bonneville and Bob Call for giving me this opportunity to live out my dream. I’m honored, overwhelmed and ecstatic to have the chance to lead such an iconic staple of the local Denver sports community. In addition, I’m excited to continue working with ESPN Radio, bringing the biggest events in sports to the Denver market.”
“His creativity, superb coaching skills and knowledge of winning sports content makes him the perfect choice to lead 104.3 The Fan into the future,” Bonneville Denver VP/Market Manager Bob Call said of Sharan.
The search for a new PD began when Armen Williams left Denver for Houston, where he now programs Entercom’s SportsRadio 610 AM.
