Nick Ferguson Joins 104.3 The Fan In Mid Days

“Starting April 29th, The Safety Blitz with Nick Ferguson will replace their current late morning show hosted by Cecil Lammey and former Broncos wide receiver, Mike Pritchard.”

Denver’s 104.3 The Fan continued its shakeup of their weekday schedule, announcing the addition of former Bronco defensive back Nick Ferguson.  Beginning next week, The Safety Blitz with Nick Ferguson will air weekdays from 9am – noon.

“The city of Denver and its fans have always held a special place in my heart,” Ferguson said in a press release. “Being a part of an organization with similar values enticed me to join the Bonneville family. As the community gets to know me, they’ll see my mission has always been about helping others.”

Following his decade long NFL career, Ferguson spent time contributing to NBC Sports Radio, 790 The Zone in Atlanta and 980 The Beast in Los Angeles.  Most recently, Ferguson served as an assistant coach with the San Francisco 49ers after holding coaching internships with the Broncos, Seahawks and Texans.  Co-hosting The Safety Blitz with Nick Ferguson will be John Davis, who joined 104.3 last summer in a part-time capacity after winning their ‘Fan Dream Job’ contest.

“Nick is an absolute ball of energy that Broncos Country is going to fall in love with,” said Sports Radio 104.3 The Fan program director Raj Sharan. “In his playing days with the Broncos, he would interact with fans and teammates while stretching at training camp. He called it ‘The Nick Ferguson Show,’ and it was often the most entertaining time of practice. Nick’s time as a recent NFL coach and former Broncos player combined with his incredible charisma makes him an extremely unique and valuable addition to our team.”

Starting April 29thThe Safety Blitz with Nick Ferguson will replace their current late morning show hosted by Cecil Lammey and former Broncos wide receiver, Mike Pritchard.  Lammey, in his second stint with The Fan, has been in the 9am timeslot for three years, partnering with Pritchard in August 2017.  According to The Fan, Pritchard will remain with the station as a part-time host, while Lammey will transition to a digital content provider.

“I am beyond excited to be at the cutting edge of exciting changes coming to,” Lammey said. “With all of our various digital platforms, I’ll be able to bring fans inside the game of football in fascinating new ways.”

The addition of Ferguson and Davis marks the second weekday lineup change 104.3 The Fan has announced in recent days, with former Broncos offensive-lineman Tom Nalen being added to their afternoon show this week.
