Maria Taylor isn’t leaving Bristol for the foreseeable future. One of ESPN’s primary college sports talents received a contract extension today. It keeps her on the company’s biggest college football broadcasts (ESPN’s College Gameday and ABC Saturday Night Football), its biggest mens college basketball broadcasts (on the sidelines for Saturday Night Primetime and in studio for Big Monday) and its biggest women’s college basketball broadcast (Tuesday Showcase).
She will also continue to rotate as a studio host on College Football Live. The new deal will also have Taylor continue her contributions to SportsCenter and ESPN’s coverage of the NBA Draft and its accompanying combine. She will also join Get Up! on select days throughout the fall.
Taylor first joined ESPN back in 2014 as part of the SEC Network, where she covered basketball and volleyball, a sport in which she earned all-conference honors at the University of Georgia. She became the host of SEC Now in 2016 before moving on to College Gameday last year.
