Klatt Moves To TV For Fox US Open Coverage

“Klatt, an avid golf fan, has been working on the network’s digital coverage since FOX acquired the US Open rights in 2015.”

Former Colorado quarterback Joel Klatt has been Gus Johnson’s counterpart for FOX’s top college football team for years, and his role with the company is about to expand.

This week it was announced that Klatt will join Joe Buck and Paul Azinger on FOX’s 2019 US Open Coverage.

Klatt, an avid golf fan, has been working on the network’s digital coverage since FOX acquired the US Open rights in 2015.

“Joel has been a key part of our golf coverage since the very beginning, and we’re excited for viewers to see more of him in this new role,” declared Mark Loomis, FOX Sports Executive Producer.

“I couldn’t be happier with this new opportunity on our USGA coverage,” claimed Klatt.

This year’s US Open at Pebble Beach begins June 13th.
