Kay Adams, the popular host of NFL Network’s Good Morning Football, is close to joining the streaming service DAZN for studio coverage of boxing events. Ryan Glasspiegal claims the two sides are in “advanced talks” in a story for The Big Lead.
DAZN made its name in the UK with streaming rights to all four major American sports leagues. The US version of DAZN launches in September and is largely built around combat sports with deals in place to stream Match Room boxing events and Bellator MMA. Former ESPN president John Skipper is DAZN’s executive chairman.
If Adams and DAZN reach a deal, she is not expected to leave NFL Network. DAZN events would just be added to her plate.
