MIDDAY HOST OPENING IN TULSA

Stephens Media Group is looking for a Sports Talk show host for its “Sports Animal” brand which airs on 97.1 KYAL in Tulsa. This is a midday show opening which will include working with former Oklahoma State and NFL football coach Pat Jones.

The position involves hosting a daily 3 hour live show, often on location and “as assigned” shows at special sporting events as needed. Candidates should have a thorough knowledge of Oklahoma University sports in addition to the OKC Thunder, Oklahoma State, Big 12 and regional universities and professional sports franchises.

SPORTS TALK SHOW HOST OPENING AT WTAM 

This position could involve hosting pre-game/post-game Browns, Cavaliers and Indians shows, and a general sports talk show.

Interested parties should be able to host sports talk shows, give weather and traffic updates, deliver sport scores, statistics and upcoming game information.

Other parts of the job may involve writing reviews and/or editing news copy, public service announcements, commercials, pre-recorded reports, contests, etc..
