Former Baltimore Ravens linebacker, Jarret Johnson is returning to the team’s radio broadcast as a full-time analyst for the 2019 season. Partnered with play-by-play voice Gerry Sandusky, Johnson will be in the booth for every game on the Ravens radio home of 98 Rock and WBAL NewsRadio 1090/FM 101.5.
“Jarret’s NFL experience, unique insight and enthusiasm is a major component of our superb Ravens Broadcast Team,” said Cary L. Pahigian, President and General Manager of 98 Rock/WBAL.
2019 will be Johnson’s second season as a full-time analyst in the radio booth, after being part of a rotating cast of analysts for the Ravens two-years ago. Last season, Johnson and Sandusky were joined in the booth by former Ravens tight-end Dennis Pitta, but his status for 2019 has not been announced.
“Jarret has long been a favorite among Ravens fans, and that enthusiasm has carried over into his role in the radio booth,” said Kevin Rochlitz, Baltimore Ravens Senior VP, Corporate Sales and Development. “His experience as a player lends credibility to his gameday analysis, and his passion for the NFL is evident.”
