Fox Sports Radio has added two new evening shows to replace Steve Gorman Sports and JT the Brick. Both of those shows parted ways with the network last week.
The first new show is Straight Outta Vegas hosted by RJ Bell. The hour long show will air every weeknight starting at 6pm Eastern. The show has spent the past year as a twice-weekly program offered as part of FSR’s weekend lineup.
Bell is the founder and CEO of Pregame.com. His show is the first nationally syndicated sports gambling-focused show offered to terrestrial radio. The move to weeknights puts Straight Outta Vegas in a “pregame” sort of slot for all East Coast games. FSR’s Jonas Knox will be pert of the cast, as will betting experts Brad Powers and Steve Fezzik.
Another weekend show is also moving into Fox Sports Radio’s 7pm ET timeslot. The Odd Couple featuring Chris Broussard and Rob Parker debuted as a Sunday show back in March. It will move to weeknights starting on September 17. Parker and Broussard have been seen on a number of Fox Sports 1 programs since joining the company.
“This historic new lineup further solidifies FOX Sports Radio’s standing as the preeminent sports network in the nation,” said Don Martin, SVP Sports Programming for Premiere Networks, and Scott Shapiro, VP of Sports Programming for Premiere Networks, in a joint statement. “It’s now crystal clear that when you’re looking for the best, live sports-talk, this is the place to tune in. Listeners who want to be entertained, informed, and emotionally invested with the most-compelling personalities and storytellers in the industry will be rewarded with every listening occasion.”
The new lineup includes an additional hour for Jason Smith and Mike Harmon. Their show now begins at 10pm ET. The new weekday lineup for Fox Sports Radio is as follows:
6am-9am Outkick The Coverage with Clay Travis
9am-12pm The Dan Patrick Show
12pm-3pm The Herd with Colin Cowherd
12pm-3pm The Rich Eisen Show
