Fox Scores Ratings Success With Bowling

“The broadcast checked in as the most-watched non-NFL adjacent bowling telecast in nearly a decade.”

CBS and the AAF were thrilled with the viewership they received over the league’s debut weekend.  Clearly, the timing of the NFL coming to a close one week prior left a lot of football fans hungry for more pigskin.  As it turns out – other sports also capitalized on the void left by the NFL.

According to data released Wednesday by FOX – the 2018 Professional Bowlers Association Tournament of Champions on FOX delivered 1.13 million viewers on Sunday, a 75% increase over last year.  The broadcast checked in as the most-watched non-NFL adjacent bowling telecast in nearly a decade.
