ESPN will televise 31 matches across multiple networks during Major League Soccer’s 2019 season. ESPN will carry 25 games, while six will be carried on ESPN2. ESPN Deportes will have the Spanish call of all 31.
Almost every match in the package includes a team that made the MLS Cup Playoffs in 2018. The network is also committing four nationally televised dates to the newest MLS team, FC Cincinnati, which will be in its inaugural season.
ESPN’s MLS schedule begins on March 3rd with a doubleheader that first sees DC United take on defending MLS Cup champions Atlanta United FC and is followed by LAFC’s visit to Sporting Kansas City. The schedule is fully set except for March 6, when ESPN will present Decision Day. That day the network will focus on games that have bearing on the MLS Cup Playoff standings.
