If you’re one of the millions of Americans filling out NCAA Tournament brackets this year, you might want to tune into ESPN and ESPN 2 on Monday. The two networks will present a combined 25 consecutive hours of analysis of tournament matchups.
The marathon is called The Tournament Challenge Marathon and it begins at 6 pm Eastern on Monday. All of the coverage will be streamed live on the ESPN app.
ESPN’s College Gameday crew of Rece Davis, Seth Greenberg, Jay Williams, and Digger Phelps will be featured throughout the marathon. The network’s other college basketball analysts including Dan Dakich, Rebecca Lobo, and LaPhonso Ellis will also make appearances. There will also be special segments featuring Dick Vitale, Marty Smith, and Maria Taylor.
The overnight hours of the marathon will be anchored by ESPN Radio talent including Sarah Spain, Jason Fitz, and Mike Golic Jr.
The special programming will be used to promote ESPN’s Tournament Challenge, one of the internet’s most popular platforms for hosting bracket contests. 17.3 million brackets were hosted on ESPN.com in 2018.
