NFL analyst Darren Woodson is leaving ESPN to focus on his commercial real estate business. He made the announcement in a post at ESPNFrontRow.com.
“As I conclude this unforgettable chapter of my life, I thank everyone at ESPN for their friendship and for the knowledge they imparted on me, and for making my experience as an NFL analyst with the company so enjoyable,” he wrote.
Prior to his time in the studio Woodson played 12 seasons with the Dallas Cowboys. He was a three-time Super Bowl Champion and was named First Team All-Pro four times. He has not been inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame, but was inducted into the Dallas Cowboys Ring of Honor in 2015.
Woodson has been at ESPN for the last 14 years. He says the demands of his Frisco, Texas real estate business will now be his primary professional concern.
