With the PGA Championship moving up to May this season – CBS will become the first network to broadcast the first two majors of the year in golf history. They’re also the first golf partner to cover back to back majors in 25 years.
While it might be odd to see the PGA Championship come just a few weeks after the Masters, it’s not odd to see the tournament covered by CBS. This is the 29th consecutive year the network has been home to golf’s fourth major.
As usual, this weekend’s broadcast will be anchored by Jim Nantz alongside Nick Faldo with golf vets Verne Lundquist, Dottie Pepper and Bill Macatee scattered across the Bethpage Black course in Farmington, New York.
