Sports radio veteran and wrestling icon, Booker T. Huffman is joining Houston’s ESPN 97.5 along with his co-host Brad Gilmore.
Booker T and Gilmore previously hosted a weekly podcast on Sports Radio 610 in Houston titled, Heated Conversations, but after 199 episodes their show on KILT came to an end last week. On Monday, Booker T and Gilmore announced a new partnership with ESPN 97.5, where they will host a tri-weekly terrestrial radio show. Titled The Hall of Fame, the new show will broadcast Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9 – 11pm.
“We are an exciting new addition to the ESPN 97.5 lineup and will get started on Monday, March 11. The show will air from 9-11PM on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. The Hall of Fame will discuss all things sports and of course will feature plenty of wrestling, MMA, boxing & more,” Gilmore announced on Twitter.
Known mostly for his wrestling resume, Booker T’s radio career dates back to 2007 when he joined KBME 790 to host Tea Time with King Booker. The Hall-of-Fame wrestler later partnered with his social media manager, Brad Gilmore in 2015 for their weekly show on KILT, which continued through last week.
The Hall of Fame will be available to audiences via Gow Media’s ESPN 97.5 app, website and locally in Houston on terrestrial radio.
