The Pittsburgh Pirates flagship radio station, 93.7 The Fan announced their new pre and post-game coverage show contributors for the upcoming 2019 baseball season.
Returning to the role he held from 2012-2016, Dan Zangrilli will once again serve as the pre and post-game show host, replacing Chris Mack. Last September, Mack was named co-host of The Fan’s morning show with Colin Dunlap.
Former Seattle Mariners general manager and Pirates scouting director, Jack Zduriencik will return for his fourth season as an analyst on the show. Kraig Riley, who began working at Entercom’s 93.7 The Fan during its inception year in 2010 as a producer, will also join the Pirates pre and post-game coverage.
“We are thrilled to welcome Dan back to Pirates baseball, and excited to offer Pittsburgh a new voice in Kraig Riley,” said Michael Spacciapolli, SVP and Market Manager, Entercom Pittsburgh. “In addition, the incredible insight we get on a daily basis from Jack makes this is an exciting next phase of our Pirates coverage. As the sports radio leader, we will continue to expand our partnership with the Pirates and offer the very best coverage of the team across our platforms.”
After departing The Fan in 2016, Zangrilli joined the West Virginia Moutaineer Sports Network as the pre and post-game host for all football radio broadcasts. Zangrilli also serves as the play-by-play voice for women’s basketball. In returning to 93.7 The Fan, Zangrilli will be able to continue his work with the Mountaineers.
