With 9 Super Bowl appearances and 6 titles, you can imagine why Tom Brady wouldn’t be the Patriot to sign up for an all day field trip to Bristol. The ring fingers are also getting heavy for Super Bowl LIII MVP Julian Edelman and fan favorite Rob Gronkowski. With that understanding, it’s easy to see why the three faces of the Patriots won’t be participating in ESPN’s “Car Wash,” the term referring to an all day, all platform schedule for visiting athletes and celebrities.
In their place on Thursday will be Sony Michel, Kyle Van Noy, Devin McCourty and his twin brother Jason.
Their day will start with an appearance on ESPN Radio’s flagship simulcast Golic and Wingo and include stops on Get Up, SportsCenter, First Take, NFL Live and just about every other studio show on the ESPN Networks. The first appearance from the Super Bowl Champions is expected to take place just after 8:30 am ET.
