95.7 the Game Launches NFL Focused Podcasts

Entercom’s 95.7 The Game launched two podcasts focused on the San Francisco 49ers and Oakland Raiders in conjunction with the start of the NFL season.

The Silver and Black Podcast, hosted by Chris Townsend, will air every Monday and Friday during the NFL season.  Townsend hosts on 95.7 The Game from 7 – 11pm each weeknight along with serving as the Oakland Raiders radio Network sideline reporter.

The 49ers-centric podcast titled Overtime will air weekly, hosted by Bonta Hill and Joe “Butcher Boy” Shasky.  Hill co-hosts the midday show on 95.7 The Game along with Greg Papa.  Shasky hosts a 49ers pre and postgame show for the station on their Facebook page, 95.7 does not hold play-by-play rights for the Niners.

“This region is home to devoted 49ers and Raiders fans who seek in-depth coverage of their favorite teams,” said Gregory Nemitz, Senior Vice President and Market Manager, Entercom San Francisco. “These new podcasts, which coincide with the return of football season, will deliver unparalleled content, direct access, and unfiltered analysis to our listeners that I trust they will enjoy.”

With 95.7 The Game being part of the Radio.com network, both podcasts are available on 957thegame.com as well as the Radio.com app.
