Sports talk host Geoff Mosher announced Tuesday, he was leaving 97.5 The Fanatic in Philadelphia.
Mosher made the announcement on his Twitter page, letting listeners know Monday was his last show at the station. “Personal news: Last night was my final shift at 97.5 The Fanatic. After three tremendous years there, I’ve decided to pursue opportunities that I’m not yet ready to announce but will soon. I appreciate the opportunity 97.5 gave when I first came over in 2015 and during my time there.
“Working at The Fanatic was an amazing experience that allowed me to interact with fans in a way that was different than during my time in newspapers and at CSN. I cherished every moment and appreciate all the callers/listeners, whether we agreed or not. Hat tip to all of you,” wrote Mosher.
After joining The Fanatic in 2015, Mosher was one of the station’s regular fill-in hosts, getting the opportunity to work a daily shift this summer. In June, The Fanatic announced Mosher would join Devon Givens each weekday from 6-9pm as part of their new summer lineup.
Last NFL season, Mosher also co-hosted This Week in Pro Football with Pat Callahan every Saturday from 10am –2pm. Prior to joining The Fanatic in 2015, Mosher spent time as an Eagles beat reporter for The Courier News, The News Journal and Comcast SportsNet Philadelphia.
Givens continued to host the evening timeslot on The Fanatic Tuesday night, doing so without a partner.
