The Toronto Maple Leafs’ radio booth is set for the foreseeable future according to the Toronto Sun. Play-by-play man Joe Bowen and color commentator Jim Ralph have each signed five year extensions to remain with the team.
Bowen, who has been with the Leafs since 1982, called his 3000th game with the team in March of 2017. Ralph, who turned to broadcasting after an injury ended his hockey career, joined the broadcast team in 1997.
The Maple Leafs’ radio package is split locally. Half of the games air on SportsNet 590 The Fan. The other half are on TSN Radio 1050.
