World Cup Semifinal to be Shown in Times Square

Fox Sports will have the eyes of New York on its coverage of the Fifa World Cup later today. The network has announced that the semifinal match between France and Belgium will be shown on the 78×300 foot high definition screen in the middle of Times Square known as “Mega-Zilla.” The broadcast will come straight from Fox 5 NY’s feed.

Mega-Zilla was manufactured by Silvercast. It is located on Broadway between 45th and 46th.

The winner of this match will take on the winner of Croatia and England in the World Cup Final on Sunday. The losers of each game will face off in the third place match on Saturday. Stu Holden and John Strong will be on the call of France and Belgium. England and Croatia play on Wednesday.
