Boston’s 98.5 The Sports Hub announced Christian Arcand will join the station’s weeknight program, The Adam Jones Show in a full-time role.
The position show’s co-host position became available following the departure of Nick Cattles, who left Boston to rejoin ESPN Radio 94.1 in Virginia Beach. Cattles announced in May, The Nick Cattles Show would return to Virginia Beach, a market he where he spent four years doing afternoon drive before joining The Sports Hub as their weeknight co-host in February 2017.
98.5 The Sports Hub program director Mike Thomas announced Arcand would join the station’s weeknight program in a full-time capacity via Twitter, “Happy to welcome Christian Arcand to the full-time weekday lineup as cohost/Sports Hub Headlines on The Adam Jones Show! He will try to tame the Sports Vulture starting Monday night 7pm–Midnight.”
Arcand joined The Sports Hub in December as a part-time host after spending more than three years at rival station WEEI. Arcand also spent nearly six years as midday co-host at ESPN New Hampshire until the station flipped formats, becoming an oldies station in 2017.
Arcand expressed excitement about his new role at The Sports Hub by tweeting, “Very proud to announce that I will be joining The Adam Jones Show full time starting next week! Thanks to everyone who helped make this happen – cannot wait to get started.”
