Planned ESPN Digital Shows Include Katie Nolan

Earlier in the week Twitter and ESPN announced a partnership to bring original sports programming to the social-network platform. Today, ESPN provided further details on their upcoming digital shows on both ESPN+ and Twitter.

Each morning when the ESPN+ app is first opened, fans will be greeted by a version of SportsCenter, hosted by Scott Van Pelt, among other anchors, providing plays and highlights from the previous night.

Also announced for the app is a new show hosted by Katie Nolan. Nolan already has a digital presence for ESPN as one of the hosts featured on their SnapChat edition of SportsCenter. The former host of Garbage Time on FS1, will have a weekly late night show on the newly launched ESPN+ platform. According to ESPN, “host Katie Nolan’s sharp, irreverent and authentic voice will be brought to the forefront, highlighting her take on the world of sports, pop culture and beyond.”

In addition to digital programming on ESPN+, five shows are being developed for Twitter, including SportsCenter Live and Fantasy Focus Live, which were both announced earlier in the week. SportsCenter Live and The College Football Show will be recap and highlight shows presented by a variety of on-air personalities. The other three planned digital programs are Hoop Streams, The College Football Show and Rankings Reactions.

Fantasy experts Matthew Berry, Field Yates, Stephania Bell and Daniel Dopp will host the daily Fantasy Focus Live collaboration for Twitter. Hoop Streams will feature David Jacoby and Ryen Russillo previewing each NBA Playoffs game prior to tip-off. Hosted by Mike Golic Jr. and Jason Fitz, Rankings Reactions will be a weekly Twitter show, providing fans analysis of the latest College Football Playoff rankings.

Being that the shows are offered on a social-media platform, fan insight and questions will be featured in most of the programs. Further details on each digital venture for both ESPN+ and Twitter can be found at
