Katie Nolan’s role at ESPN is beginning to take shape. The network has confirmed plans to launch a new podcast and digitial show starring Nolan. During her previous stint at FOX Sports, Nolan created strong social buzz and digital success for the company, despite not having a featured presence on the network’s prime time television programs. She also took home a Sports Emmy award for Outstanding Social TV experience.
The new podcast is expected to launch on January 10th. A date for the new digital show hasn’t yet been provided. Nolan will also continue appearing as a guest and contributor on the network’s studio shows.
“Katie is an amazing talent with a strong and unique voice,” Senior Coordinating Producer Glenn Jacobs said. “We’re working closely with her to create smart, fun content that fans are going to love and that they can engage with wherever they are.”
