The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have announced a new multi-year agreement with iHeartMedia Tampa Bay, continuing a partnership which has been in place since 2004. As part of the new deal, legendary voice of the Buccaneers, Gene Deckerhoff will deliver play-by-play for a 29th consecutive season. Former Buccaneers tight end Dave Moore returns for his 11th season as the team’s color analyst, and T.J. Rives continues to provide in-game reports from the sidelines for a 13th consecutive season.
One change beginning with the 2017 season, involves the team’s games being broadcast on 98Rock (WXTB-97.9 FM), Tampa Bay’s Rock Station, as well as online at Buccaneers.com and on the Buccaneers mobile app. Weekly head coach and player radio shows will continue airing on WDAE 620-AM, Tampa Bay’s Sports Radio. The gameday switch provides the Bucs for the first time in their history with over seven-and-a-half-hours of programming on the FM dial, including pre- and post-game shows bookending the on the field action.
