Another Jimmy Fund Radio-Telethon is complete and once again WEEI and NESN have played a huge role in helping raise funds for cancer research. The two Boston sports media brands worked together to raise more than $3.5 million dollars in donations during the span of the two day telethon. The funds raised help with cancer research and make life easier for children battling cancer and their families.
This was the 15th year of the Jimmy Fund Radio-Telethon. In addition to the two day telethon, the Jimmy Fund and Dana Farber work relentless the other 363 days of the year in their quest to end cancer, but they still need your help. To help by making a donation, click here.
