WFAN and the Brooklyn Nets have reached an agreement on a multi-year deal which will keep Nets radio broadcasts on New York’s leading sports radio station.
“CBS Radio is proud to continue our association with the Brooklyn Nets and Barclays Center,” said Andre Fernandez, president of CBS Radio. “We have defined our position in sports broadcasting by delivering the most extensive coverage of local programming and events, and we continue to make aggressive investments in exclusive content our audiences can’t find anywhere else.”
WFAN has operated as the Nets’ flagship station since the 2004-05 season. The agreement also covers other Barclays Center events including concerts, college basketball games and a weekly “Brooklyn Nets Report” on WFAN.
