There is life after the Gulag.
Tina Cervasio, who served as the Knicks TV courtside reporter since 2008 before being dumped by the Madison Square Garden Network, is joining One World Sports, according to industry sources.
Cervasio will handle a variety of assignments for the global sports network. She will make her debut Saturday working OWS’ telecast of the Cosmos NASL Championship semi-final.
Next season, Cervasio will anchor a Cosmos pregame show and report from the sidelines, joining play-by-play man JP Dellacamera and analyst Shep Messing. She also will co-host OWS’ “NASL This Week.”
Cervasio comes to OWS with soccer experience, having worked on MSG’s Red Bulls telecasts. Cervasio has a link to OWS. She worked with its programming and production boss Joel Feld when she served as a reporter on NESN’s Red Sox telecast.
Cervasio will continue working as a sports reporter for Fox 5.
