Oakland Raider games are broadcast on 95.7 The Game in the bay area, but with their pending move to Las Vegas for the 2020 season the team also has a radio rights deal in their future market.
Last season, the Raiders entered a new agreement with Beasley Media Group to have their games broadcast on conservative talk station KDWN – AM (720) and country music station “102.7 The Coyote” KCYE –FM. This week, Beasley Media Group began simulcasting KDWN on 101.5, relaunching as “The New Talk of Las Vegas.” Fans of the Raiders in Las Vegas will now have the ability to listen to Raider games on three different stations, KDWN – AM (720), 102.7 – FM and 101.5 – FM.
“We’re truly excited about this new opportunity to expand KDWN’s presence in the Las Vegas market,” VP/market manager Dennis Gwiazdon said. “Not only does this provide our listeners with an additional choice to enjoy KDWN’s programming but an FM simulcast immediately adds value to our advertising customers.”
Prior to the NFL’s announcement approving the Raiders’ move to Las Vegas, Raider games were already broadcast in the market on KXTE-FM (107.5) and KXST-AM (1140), which were owned by CBS at the time.
The Raiders are entering the second year of a two-year agreement with the Beasley Media Group, meaning their radio broadcast rights would be up for renegotiation prior to moving to Vegas in 2020.
