NHL Playoffs to Air on Westwood One and NBC Sports Radio

Westwood One has announced it will present live play-by-play audio coverage of the NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs in conjunction with NBC Sports and NBC Sports Radio, beginning with first round action this Wednesday night, April 11th. The network will air Game 1 of the Western Conference playoff series between the Los Angeles Kings and the Vegas Golden Knights.

Additionally, Westwood One will broadcast a number of playoff games over the next few weeks, including Game 3 between the Anaheim Ducks and San Jose Sharks on Monday, April 16th and Game 4 between the Nashville Predators and the Colorado Avalanche on Wednesday, April 18th. Other playoff games in the first two rounds will be announced at a later date.

Westwood One plans to air audio broadcast of every game of both the Conference Finals and Stanley Cup Final.

Calling the action will be Kenny Albert (play-by-play) and Joe Micheletti (analyst). The two accomplished broadcasters will serve as Westwood One/NBC Sports Radio’s lead broadcast crew for the 2018 Stanley Cup Final and select playoff games.

NHL programming is expected to be made available on NBC Sports Radio affiliates throughout the United States, and on  NBCSportsRadio.comNBCSports.com, the NBC Sports Radio mobile app, SiriusXM, (213/Sirius and 202/XM), TuneIn and the free TuneIn mobile app. NHL fans can also follow the playoffs on the NBC Sports Radio station on Apple Music.
