Mike Missanelli Gains TV Simulcast

The Mike Missanelli Show airs weekdays on 97.5 The Fanatic in Philadelphia from 2pm – 6pm ET. Beginning in early 2018, Missanelli’s radio show will now be simulcast on NBC Sports Philadelphia from 2pm – 5pm. Philly Sports Talk will continue in its regular timeslot from 5pm – 6pm on the TV network.

“NBC Sports Philadelphia continues to be Philadelphia sports fans’ go-to source for game, news and opinion, on their favorite teams,” said Brian Monihan of NBC Sports Philadelphia. “With the addition of the Mike Missanelli Show to our lineup, we are providing our audience with yet another platform to hear from experts and fans on the state of Philly teams.”

“We are absolutely thrilled to be able to have Mike Missanelli’s show on both 97.5 The Fanatic and NBC Sports Philadelphia,” said Joe Bell, vice president and market manager of Beasley Media Group Philadelphia. “We recently signed a multi-year extension deal with him. This exciting new partnership will be an added bonus for the dedicated Philadelphia fans who are passionate about their sports teams.”

In September Missanelli was dismissed from his weekly TV role on Philadelphia’s local ABC affiliate after he stated it was “unnatural” to hear Beth Mowins call an NFL game, among other comments.

Last week Radio Ink named Missanelli number 13 on their 2017 list of the Best Local Sports Talkers in America. NBC Sports Philadelphia did not announce the exact start date for the simulcast, other than it would begin in 2018.
