It may seem like just yesterday that the Pac-12 Network was launched, but here we are six years later. Although work still needs to be done to make the brand a larger part of the college sports fan’s daily experience, the one thing they haven’t lacked is talent.
To assure the network remains competitive in the future, multiyear contract extensions have been secured with a number of key on-air contributors. Among those to receive new deals are lead studio host Mike Yam, lead host and reporter Ashley Adamson, veteran reporter Lewis Johnson and veteran play-by-play announcer Roxy Bernstein
Under the terms of their new agreements, Yam will remain the face of studio programming for the network, serving as host of “Pac-12 Sports Report,” “Pac-12 Final Score” and pre and postgame shows for Pac-12 football and Pac-12 men’s basketball. Adamson will continue to handle hosting of Pac-12 Network shows and events.
Bernstein will remain featured as one of Pac-12’s lead play-by-play voices of football, basketball, soccer, baseball and women’s volleyball. Johnson will be tasked with reporting and covering multiple sports, including football, men’s basketball, and track and field.
The latest announcement by the network follows previous extensions reached with other key contributors Yogi Roth and Steve Lavin.
