97.1 The Ticket Adds Kyle Bogenschultz To Evenings

97.1 The Ticket is adding a new voice to its weekday lineup. The radio station has announced that Kyle Bogenschultz will join Bob Wojnowski, forming the “Wojo and Bogey Show“. The program airs weeknights at 6pm ET in Detroit.

In addition to adding a regular presence during evening hours, Bogenshultz will also host “Pistons Weekly” starting Thursday June 8th at 8pm ET.

“Kyle has emerged as a hard-working, talented sports personality in Detroit and we are excited to have him join Wojo each weeknight,” said 97.1 The Ticket Program Director Jimmy Powers. “If Kyle didn’t go into broadcasting, he wanted to be a basketball coach, so his passion for the game makes him the perfect fit for the Pistons Weekly show.”

Prior to joining The Ticket, Bogenschultz spent five years working for FOX Sports Interactive and Scout Media as a multimedia journalist. He also doubled as a radio host on Sports talk 1050AM WTKA in Ann Arbor, and spent six years as a host and producer of a local sports television show.

“As someone that grew up in Detroit following all four sports teams and listening to 97.1 The Ticket, I’m incredibly fortunate and honored to be a small part of this station and it’s future. I’d like to thank Jimmy Powers and Debbie Kenyon for their belief in me and this opportunity, as well as Wojo and many others at the station who have been very helpful and encouraging over the last several years,” added Bogenschultz.
