Is Comcast SportsNet New England getting ready to embrace debate? The sports television channel is adding a new nightly program. “Boston Sports Tonight”, which it says will feature “a cross-section of opinion, information, and fun.” according to a report from Chad Finn in the Boston Globe.
The new show is scheduled to debut on April 3rd and feature Tom Curran, Tom Giles, Kayce Smith and Michael Holley. The addition of the television program will not affect Holley’s daytime position at WEEI.
CSN plans to air the show weeknights from 9p-Midnight ET, and present what is generating interest on the Boston sports scene, while weaving in social media feedback and special guests. The four hosts will also drop in at different spots inside of CSN’s offices, and gather additional input from CSN staffers and guests.
