CBS Sports Radio Shuffling Weekday Lineup

As first reported by the New York Post, Doug Gottlieb will soon be heading west to join FOX Sports 1 and FOX Sports Radio. As a result, his departure from CBS Sports Radio will cause a few lineup adjustments.

Gottlieb’s afternoon slot will be turned over to Brandon Tierney and Tiki Barber. Tiki and Tierney will air weekday afternoons across the nation on the CBS Sports Radio Network, and take over Gottlieb’s television simulcast on the CBS Sports Network.

With Tiki and Tierney moving later in the day, their midday slot will now belong to Damon Amendolara. D.A. had been hosting the early evening slot on the network since its inception in 2013.

To fill Amendolara’s evening spot on the network, sources tell BSM that CBS will turn to former AM 570 L.A. Sports midday host Bill Reiter. Reiter left FOX to join CBS’ digital team this past October.

Details about Gottlieb’s roles with FS1 and FOX Sports Radio should be officially announced soon. All changes at CBS Sports Radio are expected to begin on April 17th.
