Shannon Spake has been named the new co-host of NASCAR Race Hub (Monday-Thursday 6p ET on FS1) at FOX Sports. Spake will team up with Adam Alexander for the 2017 NASCAR race season, starting today.
In addition, Spake will host NASCAR Raceday-XFinity, live from the track preceding each weekend’s NASCAR XFinity series race. She’ll also continue in her role as a sideline reporter for college basketball and a couple of NFL games on FOX Sports.
After spending a decade at ESPN, Spake returned recently to FOX Sports. She previously worked for ESPN as a pit reporter on the network’s NASCAR coverage, and as a sideline reporter for Saturday college football games and select Bowl games. She also contributed to ESPN’s Saturday Primetime and Super Tuesday SEC college basketball telecasts, and the 2015 NBA Draft coverage, along with multiple NCAA men’s basketball tournaments and Final Four championships for SportsCenter.
Prior to ESPN, Spake worked for FOX Sports’ SPEED. She served as a reporter for NASCAR Nation, co-hosted Backseat Drivers and reported from the NASCAR garage during the network’s coverage of the 2006 Daytona Speed Weeks.
