Terrell Owens To Spend 60 Minutes with 97.5 The Fanatic

Get your popcorn ready because Terrell Owens is hitting the air in Philadelphia for sixty minutes of unfiltered conversation with 97.5 The Fanatic morning show host Anthony Gargano. Owens will appear in studio on Gargano’s show on Wednesday January 11th from 9a-10a ET.

During his playing career, Owens enjoyed stints with the San Francisco 49ers, Dallas Cowboys, Buffalo Bills, and Cincinnati Bengals, and a brief twenty day stay with the Seattle Seahawks, but no stop provided more fireworks than his time spent in the city of brotherly love.

As a member of the Eagles, Owens feuded with Eagles QB Donovan McNabb, staged the infamous driveway incident where his former agent Drew Rosenhaus dodged questions as Owens did sit ups in his driveway, and labeled the Eagles a classless organization for not recognizing his 100th TD catch.

Despite the constant turmoil, the Eagles did go to the Super Bowl with Owens during their 2004 season. After spraining his ankle and breaking his fibula on a play against the Dallas Cowboys in December, and being thought to be unavailable for the big game against the New England Patriots, T.O shocked fans and the media by announcing he’d play. The Eagles would lose the game, but Owens shined by hauling in 9 receptions for 122 yards.

It was recently announced that Owens along with former teammate Brian Dawkins were finalists for the NFL Hall of Fame. The Class of 2017 will be officially announced on February 4th.
