The Big Lead is reporting that former Chicago Bulls forward Scottie Pippen is joining ESPN as an NBA analyst. ESPN representatives declined to comment on the story.
Pippen, won six titles with the Chicago Bulls in the 1990s, and is expected to be on air for about 50 shows during the 2016-2017 NBA season. He’ll appear primarily with Rachel Nichols on her daily NBA show “The Jump”.
NBA Countdown has already announced it will have Michelle Beadle and Sage Steele split the hosting role this season. Jalen Rose will remain on the show but Doug Collins is exiting as studio analyst role to provide color commentary on games.
