IMG and TuneIn Extend Partnership, Add College Sports Now

IMG has announced a multi-year extension and expansion of its relationship with TuneIn, the world’s largest audio network, to continue carrying play-by-play broadcast and team-specific college sports content from more than 60 IMG College partner schools across every major conference.

Included in the deal is the reintroduction of the College Sports Now channel, which will feature the Nissan College Football Blitz and a new two-hour college sports roundup show airing weekdays from 10a-12p ET. Mike Maniscalco will serve as host for the daily show, with support from prominent guests and analysts from across the country.

Also new to the deal is the ability for listeners to access on-demand content for each of the team-branded stations including game audio, interviews, features and weekly coaches’ shows. Power 5 conference team stations will also gain access to a weekly conference report throughout the playing seasons.

TuneIn’s on-demand functionality also allows partner schools to distribute audio content via Twitter.
