WGR in Buffalo are in negotiations with Pegula Sports and Entertainment, the owners of the Buffalo Bills and Sabres, to simulcast two shows on MSG television. The John Murphy Show and Hockey Hotline are the two programs expected to be carried by the New York City cable channel.
Once negotiations are finalized, Murphy’s show which airs weeknights from 7p-9p will shift to weekdays 12p-3p. Hockey Hotline, which is hosted by ex-Sabres Andrew Peters and Craig Rivet will remain in its current timeslot of weekdays 10a-12p.
Entercom and Pegula Sports and Entertainment already have a close working relationship. The Bills and Sabres radio broadcasts air on WGR.
