Nolan’s Premiere Captures Why She’s Emmy Worthy

FS1 original program “Garbage Time with Katie Nolan” recently received a Sports Emmy Award for Outstanding Social TV Experience. Her Season 3 premiere episode which aired on Wednesday May 4th reminded us why.

In just one week, clips from the episode have attracted over half a million views (540,457) on Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, FOXSports.com, FOX Sports GO, and the show’s podcast platforms. The episode included a Deflategate parody of Beyoncé’s “Lemonade”, and the launch of a crowd-funding campaign to purchase a bench in New York City’s Central Park as a retirement gift for Boston Red Sox slugger David Ortiz.

Despite bombarding the Central Park website with traffic, causing a temporary shut-down, the campaign hit its $10,000 goal Friday night, shortly before Ortiz was ejected in the ninth inning of that night’s game between the Yankees and Red Sox.
