ESPN Announces New Roles For Four Broadcasters

Last week, it was reported that Joe Tessitore and Steve Levy were receiving bigger roles calling ESPN College Football games. The network today confirmed those moves, and added that Samantha Ponder and Brian Griese would also receive new opportunities.

Ponder, will join the ABC Saturday Night Football telecast as a reporter.She will also continue her role as a contributor for College GameDay and College Football Live.

Griese, will serve as an analyst for Saturday afternoon games on ABC or ESPN. He will work with Levy on game broadcasts. Todd McShay will also contribute to the broadcast as a field analyst.

Tessitore, moves to the ESPN College Football Primetime game. He will work alongside returning analyst Todd Blackledge, and returning reporter Holly Rowe.

ESPN says additional college football announcing roles and teams will be revealed in the coming weeks.
