Amanda Gifford is climbing the ladder once again at ESPN. After working her way up at ESPN Radio from intern to producer to program director to Senior Director of Daytime Programming, Gifford is sliding over to television. In her new role as a member of the Talent Office, Amanda will oversee matters that involve SportsCenter, ESPN Audio, ESPN2 daytime shows, and the NBA, MLB, Soccer, Golf and Tennis sports properties.
She’s been a mainstay at ESPN Radio since May 2004, following her graduation from Penn State. During her time at the network she’s managed popular shows and personalities such as ‘Mike and Mike’, ‘Russillo and Kanell’, ‘The Dan Le Batard Show’ and Colin Cowherd.
Her new boss Rob Savinelli says “Amanda’s experience with ESPN Audio, and ability to forge strong relationships and trust with on-air talent, will provide invaluable skills that will translate well to our team.”
