Tim Lewis’ run in Salt Lake City has ended before it ever really got started. Lewis, left Bloomington, Illinois to return to the market in February to host mornings on 1320 KFAN. The position had been vacant following the departure of Tim Montemayor.
After roughly ninety days on the air, the station has elected to go in a different direction. Starting Monday, CBS Sports Radio’s “Tiki and Tierney” will be offered in mornings.
According to sources, the pairing just didn’t work. Ratings for the program were low, and a distant third behind local stations ESPN 700, and 1280 The Zone.
It’s unclear at this time if The Fan will add a new local morning show in the future.
