After exiting the nationally syndicated “Free Beer and Hot Wings” show, which originates from Townsquare Media’s rock station WGRD in Grand Rapids, Eric Zane has found himself a brand new home. Zane, is heading across town to join sports talker WBBL where he will host morning drive. His on-air debut is set for Thursday April 7th.
Zane left WGRD in mid-February after being absent from it without explanation. It appears his departure was due to a contract dispute.
Now, he’ll compete against his former partners Gregg “Free Beer” Daniels and Chris “Hot Wings” Michels. The “Free Beer and Hot Wings” show is syndicated nationally by Compass Media Networks. Zane’s new station WBBL is owned and operated by Cumulus Media.
