710 ESPN Seattle has struck a deal with the Seattle Z Mariners to remain the team’s radio home. The agreement is said to be a multi-year extension which will keep the team’s games and other weekly programming on the radio station.
Along with airing Mariners games, 710 ESPN Seattle offers “The “Hot Stove League” during the offseason, “The Cactus League Report” during spring training, and a weekly magazine program during the regular season.
Carl Gardner, vice president and general manager of the Bonneville Seattle Media Group which owns and operates 710 ESPN said: “Bonneville’s mission is to connect our community by providing original, local content that Northwest people care about deeply. Nothing fits that description better than Mariners baseball, so we are delighted to continue our long, storied partnership with the Mariners.”
Mariners baseball has aired on Bonneville Seattle radio stations for 25 of the franchise’s 39 seasons.
