Allen Faul Named APD At ESPN 103.3

Cumulus Dallas spent the past few months undergoing a lengthy process to find the right individual to join their team as Assistant Program Director. Now the company can breathe a little easier because they’ve found their man.

The newest addition to the company is Allen Faul, who was most recently with The Beast 980 in Los Angeles before the radio station flipped formats at the end of February. He confirmed the news yesterday on Facebook.

Allen spent the past few years at The Beast producing morning drive with Jeanne Zelasko, Bill Plaschke, and Marques Johnson. Prior to that he worked with Jason Smith at Fox Sports Radio, and spent a little more than a year in Tuscaloosa, Alabama producing and fill-in hosting at Tide 99.1 which is owned and operated by Townsquare Media.

He’s expected to assist Program Director Jeff Catlin with the day to day operations of ESPN 103.3. Ironically, that radio station was previously programmed by Tom Lee, Faul’s last boss at The Beast.
