Pete Rose Expected To Return To Fox Sports

Fox Sports expects Pete Rose will return to its Major League Baseball coverage in the 2016 season.

“We do expect him to return next season,” Fox Sports spokesman Eddie Motl told Cincinnati.com in an email this afternoon.

Rose, baseball all-time hits leader, worked with Fox Sports this season in a variety of their baseball shows.

Rose enjoyed his time with the World Series coverage this year and called it his best October since winning the World Series title in 1980 with Philadelphia.

He caused a stir on social media when he left the Fox Sports coverage after Game 3 of the World Series.

But, Rose had obligations that included a dinner and a speech and autograph signings, according to the Associated Press.

”I would have loved to have stayed; I had a lot of fun working with those guys (at Fox Sports),” Rose told the AP. ”But I already had previous things that were scheduled a long time ago. I had forgotten to put the World Series dates in when I signed for those, so I had to leave.”
