1080 The Fan Keeps Cowherd

Entercom-Portland’s KFXX (“1080 The FAN”) has reached an agreement with Premiere Networks’ “The Herd with Colin Cowherd,” keeping the show on its original radio home since 1997. Beginning today, September 10th, 1080 The FAN will air “The Herd” live, in its new 9AM to noon Pacific Time slot.

I’m on the station I should be,” stated Cowherd. “It’s been my home since day one.”

With Cowherd’s move to mid-mornings, The FAN lineup transitions with current mid-afternoon show “Dusty and Cam” moving to the 6AM to 9AM slot, followed by “The Herd” from 9AM to noon. Former mid-morning show “Dirt & Sprague” shifts to noon to 3PM followed by PM-Drive staple “Primetime with Isaac and Suke” from 3 to 7PM.

We’re happy to keep The Herd on The FAN where it all began,” added KFXX and KMTT program director Jeff Austin. “This means our original, popular lineup is intact and even stronger, with the added benefit of a local morning show on the station for the first time since Colin left The FAN to become a national host.”
