101ESPN – the Pride of St Louis Sports – is pleased to announce that former St. Louis Post-Dispatch columnist and 101ESPN contributor Bernie Miklasz is returning to the airwaves on Monday, August 31 with a revival of The Bernie Miklasz Show, weekday mornings from 7:00 until 10:00 am.
Miklasz is a mainstay in the St. Louis sports scene, with more than 25 years of experience as an award-winning sports writer and columnist with the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.
Bernie’s new role combines his talents as an on-air radio host, along with his writing capabilities and experience, to make 101ESPN and 101sports.com the exclusive media outlets for his sports reports and featured broadcast and online content.
Commenting on this recent announcement, Miklasz notes, “I’ve always loved sports writing, and I’ve always loved doing sports radio. What I didn’t like was having to choose between them. This is why I’m so thrilled to join 101ESPN.”
Bernie continues, “Now I can do it all. Hosting a three-hour weekday show, and writing a multitude of columns for 101sports.com. Being able to serve the passionate St. Louis-area sports fans on two distinct platforms, as a host and a writer.” He adds, “It’s really the best of both worlds. This is an exciting new chapter in my career.”
The Bernie Miklasz Show will air weekdays from 7-10am on 101ESPN beginning August 31st, followed by The Kevin Wheeler Show from 10am-1pm, The Turn from 1pm-3pm, and The Fast Lane from 3pm-7pm. Mike and Mike will now air from 5am-7am.
