Zaslowsky Exits 97.9 ESPN

97.9 ESPN in Hartford, CT will soon be under the watchful eye of a brand new Program Director after current PD Dave Zaslowsky announced via his Facebook page (see below) his intentions to head home to Chicago and join 89 WLS.

Zaslowsky who previously spent time programming for the ESPN Radio Network, had Programmed the radio station for the past 4-years and had done an excellent job. Among his biggest accomplishments was landing Rob Dibble to host afternoons. No word yet on who his replacement will be. His first day back home in Chicago will be July 1st.

I moved to Connecticut in 1991 and worked at the great KC101, then it was off to Q105 before getting the job any sports fan would love….working at The World Wide Leader in Sports ESPN! The last 4 years I have enjoyed helping build 97-9 ESPN to the success it now has. The time has come for Sue and I to move on and I have accepted a position at 89 WLS in Chicago! I begin my new journey July 1st. Sue and I will miss our friends here but we can’t wait to get home.
